You still have to pay for your licence, they use your vehicle, and it's your petrol! How can they justify £58 in some cases just for an old man to sit next to you for half an hour and tick boxes?

Can they really be that bad considering their instructors will not even put them in for a test until they are ready? How many fails are too many? And why aren't retests free?

Did you know that one way the government proposes to reduce the number of cars is to persuade instructors to increase their fees? Aren't tuition fees high enough already?
